All about JQ: 2013

It's coming to the end of 2013 in the next couple of days
Thought I'll pen down highlights of the things I have done for the past one year.

My Achievements
Got myself Zumba Gold, Zumba Pro and Zumba Kids & Zumba Kids Jr certified. I mentioned that I want to improve myself and I did.
I am now Standard First Aider and AED certified. I can apply first aid skills and also operate an AED. I am proud to acquire all these life saving skills.

My travels

1. Dubai & Abu Dhabi (Feb)

My first trip ever with all our sisters and brother. Purely siblings bonding time.

2. Boracay (Apr)

My first time at Boracay, one of the places I was hoping or dying to go .... !! Heard too much raves about the island and finally got myself there. It's truly one of the top beaches in the world. This trip was a supposed to be a surprise trip planned by the BF. I was made to believe that I was going to India with him, and only to find out we are heading to Boracay when nearing to travel dates (he's pretty good at keeping mum and secretive on such things....) Guess I'm either smart or maybe lucky in this case cos I chanced upon the booking form by pure luck!

3. London & Spain (May/Jun)

A trip with a few of my bestest girlfriends ! Spent a great time at both countries. We went to London and flew to Sevilla. Granada, Valencia, Sevilla, Barcelona, Coasta Brava, Montesarrat and Ibiza ! It's really a party island. So many memories created, from appreciating the Gaudi art to learning the basics of flamenco.

4. One of An experience of my lifetime - South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Zambia (Aug)

"It's a land of animals" and I confirmed this statement is true, at least for me. Love the self-drive along the coastal of Cape Town, love the fresh seafood, love the hospitality, love the Atlantic ocean, love Victoria Falls, love the safari games and love the friendship made for the trip! Amazing holidays there

5. Cambodia with Team GUYL (Oct)

We did it last year and we done it again this year and it's getting bigger ! Overseas volunteering with an awesome team❤❤❤ needless to say, always memorable !

Events:

Was asked to participate in the President's Challenge volunteering drive. We are humbled to be able to share our passion with the Mr. President and the community.

Conducted Zumba Gold during Central CDC SAC Interaction Day for 600 over elderly ... This event marks our first ever Zumba Gold mega party in Singapore !

2013 was an important year for me and a turning point of my life. I found my soulmate, someone who is so similar as me in many ways or probably way better than I am (bleh @ myself)... who loves the same things as I am, does the same things as I am, enjoys the same kind of food as I am etc . He's funny, kind, loving and always able to surprise me with his random ideas. i Truly thank God for him.

So much achievements made and I pray and wish that God can use me and guide me through 2014.

I would like to serve and bring glory to God even more. God, please continue to show me the way. Amen
