Today's service by Paul Scanlon and I chose to sit with the hearing impaired to refresh some sign language that I've learned 

Today is about beginning.

 Paul Scanlon was sharing about small beginnings (what a coincidence! Cos we are gg to make our small beginnings in GZ)

If you are starting a business, don't give up when there's struggles under the pressure of small beginning and fear of uncertainty.  He shared about being here for one another and encourage one another.

Sng's third work trip: Day 10

I can't believe times really flies.

It's day 10 since Sng went Myanmar for work.. I have been rather busy at work so I was too exhausted to countdown. Work has been a Challenge. Some days were ok, most days were bad and but the past Wednesday was terrible. I was reprimanded for a particular issue at work, And the next day news spread like fire .. many of them in office came to me that they heard about the incident. To be honest, this project was not mine but I stepped in to help facilitate because the person supposingly in charge is not handling this properly. If I don't highlight, there will be problems at my end too, hence I started to set things up but was reprimanded by whole loads of people for doing this last min. I have raised it to my manager but he just asked me to resolve it myself... While the person in charge just  go scotfree for her poor project management.

At times, I really feel like throwing in the towel.

Being kind and helpful doesn't pay. Some people just take advantage of your kindness

Being happy has more benefits than being pessimistic 

Depression has been so common now in the stressful world.

James 1:20 for the wrath of man is not righteousness of God

He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; And he that ruleth his spirit, than he that taketh a city. (Proverbs 16:32 ASV)

Being happy is to not harbour evil thoughts and dwell in :

1. Hatred

2. Anger

3. Self pity

Being helpful will make you happy

Being kind will make you happy 

Have a break and go holiday 

Being restful will make you happy 

Being contented will make you happy

On the seventh day, it's the rest day. Rest day is happy.

Make everyday a happy day for you. Help someone, be kind, be grateful with what you have and have ample of rest 

Sng's third work trip: Day 4

I had an early morning

Started out with a 3 km run with my eldest sister

It was a good run!

Went to pay respects to my grandparents for the seventh month prayers. Say hi to my beloved grandparents. It was so crowded at the temple.

I went to visit CA and Charles ! I enjoyed spending that afternoon with them

Yesterday I was rather upset and didn't manage to sleep till 2 am.. Due to the recent CHC trial, some people immediately form their judgment against church people.  Its common to get that kind of reaction from non believers as CHC negative news is in the media everyday

If the man truly makes the mistakes, he will be punished but why keep condemning about Christianity ? If the church board misuse the funds, they will be punished  but that doesn't mean Christianity is bad and people in this church are blinded and brainwashed... Why would others be so misunderstood ?

We do not worship to any human being or the pastors. We also don't endorse or justify for anyone's act as we do not know the whole truth. We are not perfect ourselves. Before you criticize anyone in this trial, ask yourself :

1. Are you a prefect person that has not make mistakes before?  

2. Do you know the whole truth ? 

3. Have you been to CHC and do you even know them personally to place your opinions?

If your answer is No, I thank you for your opinions but no thank you too cos your opinions have no basis other than drawing your own conclusion based on what you hear or read from somewhere...

In church we pray to GOD! The reason for going to CHC is that they have a team of Pastors who teach God's word in easy to understand language and I can relate to.

Over there, I've learnt to be a better person and each week, my spirit gets rejuvenated there 

For me, I go to CHC and till now when the trial is going on and many adverse news has been published about the CHC leaders. But It doesn't stop me to have faith in God. I'm in church for God, not for the man. The church will still go on cos We follow the word of God, not the pastor's life.

God, let justice prevail. Amen

My Family BBQ !!!!!  On a national day, my family gathered together to have a wonderful bonding time. Wish Sng was here.

Sng's third work trip: Day 2

It was a beautiful dawn break this morning. I woke up and upon seeing this, I snapped a picture of it. It reminds me how beautiful our world is. Thank God for the creation. Today I read the bible for my quiet reading during the journey to work. I bought breakfast for my colleagues. It made me feel blessed to be able to bless someone else and making their day a great start 

In the afternoon, I went to the gym during lunch. Did body scrulpturing for 45 mins.

Thurs has always been my gym day. I make a point to hit the gym and will not make any lunch appts on Thursdays.

It feels great after a good workout indeed. But I rewarded myself with tom yam noodles.. There goes my calories !

Finally i survived another day at work!!!

After work, I went to Browhaus to trim my brows. It's been a while since I last gotten my brows back in shape. My therapist really took good care of me (my brows) and today she mentioned I have been with Browhaus for 3 years . Time flies.

I'm so so blessed today ! The dress that I reserved at Gio - today I went to collect and to my surprise (good fortune), it was at 50% off !

Such a blessed child I am today. Now back to the chores - water Sng's plants and warming the Sng's van 

Sng's third work trip: Day 1

The third overseas trip for Sng since we got back from our last holiday... This time he will be away till 16 aug...

Day 1 - he left early morning to the airport and I went to work.

I Knocked off rather late. Supposed to attend a SSG meeting but I didn't make it. Ended up had dinner on my own and head back home to water Sng's plants. I decided to kick start doing 1 or 2 photo props instead 

Used the hard board paper and also the styrofoam one...

Hardboard is rather hard to cut while styrofoam is so fragile !

So many props to do... Decided to start with the simple ones

The pen Knife is not good ... It can't even cut a smooth edge. Think I have to go get a decent one tomorrow if not I doubt I can do up a good prop

Finally done with one. Not great but I'll continue to practice 

Proceed with the rabbit ears using the styrofoam board... Wrong move !!!! This is tough .. A hard knock will break the ears...

Look at my lousy bunny ears props !!! Hahahha

Verdict : styrofoam is only meant for regular shapes 

will continue to improve and practice as I go along.

Simple surprise

Picnic by the beach. 

Sng came to pick me from work, with the ice box and picnic basket filled with items brought from home. No gourmet meals, no queue at crowded restaurants, no need to wait for tables 

We had such a cosy and quiet dinner, watching the sunset together just by ourselves. Listening to sea waves, enjoying the sea breeze ... Just being with one another - To me this is the purest happiness that I can ever ask for.

The most simplest way brings the purest happiness

He is simple and ordinary but yet everything I ever need.

Thank you God for sending this angel to me. I'm indeed blessed

God wants in human, woman wants in a man, man struggle with ;

Decisiveness, consistency and strength

Sins will creep inside us hence we require the anionting of the Holy Spirit 

Human Govt - human governs human - will manifest overtime. Growing and development with or without God ? It's not the govt that's corrupted, it's the people, 

Govt is to protect life of people, to punish the unlawful and reward those who obey, to provide righteousness, to bring justice, to curb crimes and to be lawful. Govt is God's agency.

Cyprus is non-believer but God uses him. Babylon, king of Persia, Darius the great.  2 Chronicles. Cyrus later issued a decree permitting captive people, including the Jews, to return to their own land (as explained in 2 Chronicles 36), to allow their temple to be rebuilt back in Jerusalem.

Acts 14-15 God allows nations to develop in their own way. 

God so loved the WORLD that he gave his one and only son

Cos He knows the revelations and know that all will come to know the truth. We are trying to maintain Govt in the Home first in order to rule the nation.

Church is where we can learn about righteousness, Justice, Moral values, social values and His Mediatorial Rule 

Get involved in govt, get involved in justice, get involved in authority, get involved in attorney and get involved in social and involved in communities 

God loves the World even the non-believers. Trust that God loves You, yes you even you don't believe in him

Let the non believers know. Don't give up on them.

Winners never quit. Quitters never win

A busy weekend ! Volunteer, wedding, night hanging out with awesome friends

Volunteered at the ASEAG mass interview - help out at the registration 

It was so fun and I met really happy volunteers such as experienced aunties Wendy and Regina.

They are such a fun bunch of aunties volunteers 

Went to Darius wedding at expo. It was a huge wedding carnival !!

Enjoyed myself cos it's another day of hanging out with awesome girlfriends
